These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and SubDupes ("we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the SubDupes application and website.
By accessing the Site, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with all of these Terms and Conditions, then you are expressly prohibited from using the Site.
Description of Service
SubDupes is a subscription management platform that helps users track, manage, and optimize their recurring expenses. The service provides features such as:
Manual Entry
Manual subscription entry
Smart Extraction
Extraction of subscription data from uploaded bank statements and forwarded emails
User Representations
By using the Site, you represent and warrant that:
- All registration information you submit will be true, accurate, current, and complete.
- You have the legal capacity and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
- You are the owner or authorized user of any financial statements or email accounts you upload or connect to the Service.
- You will not use the Site for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
Financial Data Security
No Banking Credentials
We do not ask for or store your online banking username or password. We only process the files (PDFs/Images) you upload or the emails you forward.
Accuracy Disclaimer
Accuracy
While we strive for high accuracy with our OCR and AI technology, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in detecting all subscriptions or calculating exact amounts. You are responsible for verifying the data presented in your dashboard.
Not Financial Advice
SubDupes provides information and organizational tools. We are not a financial advisor, bank, or tax professional. The “Insights” and “Savings” figures are estimates for informational purposes only.
User Data and Content
Uploaded Content
You retain ownership of any data (e.g., bank statements) you upload. By uploading, you grant us a license to process this data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
Prohibited Content
You may not upload content that is illegal, offensive, or contains viruses or malware.
Payment and Licence
- One-time licence fee: SubDupes Lifetime is sold for a single, one-time licence fee, shown on our pricing page and at checkout at the time of purchase. Paying it gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the paid features of SubDupes on your account.
- No recurring charges: SubDupes Lifetime is not a subscription. You will not be charged again for it, and there is nothing to cancel.
- Payment processing: Payments are processed by Stripe. SubDupes is operated and billed by AST MIDDLE EAST DMCC, so the merchant name shown at checkout, on receipts and on card statements may appear as AST. We do not store your card information.
- Free trial: New accounts receive a 14-day free trial of the full service. No payment details are needed to start the trial, and the trial does not turn into a charge automatically.
- After the trial: If you have not purchased SubDupes Lifetime when the trial ends, your account becomes read-only: you can still view and export your data, but reminders, alerts, insights and adding new subscriptions are paused until you purchase.
- Money-back guarantee: If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting support@subdupes.com. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
- Refunds and chargebacks: If a payment is refunded, or reversed through a chargeback or payment dispute, the licence ends and your account returns to read-only. If a dispute is resolved in our favour, access is restored.
- Meaning of "lifetime": "Lifetime" means for as long as SubDupes operates the service. It does not refer to the lifetime of any person or to any fixed period.
- Fair use: The licence covers normal personal or business use. To keep the service sustainable, fair-use limits may apply to automated processing, such as the number of email scans and AI assistant messages.
- Former subscribers: If you previously paid for a recurring SubDupes plan, that recurring billing is ended as part of the move to one-time pricing, and you will not be charged for it again.
Email Forwarding Security
If you use our email forwarding feature:
- You agree to only forward emails from accounts you own.
- You acknowledge that forwarding emails involves sharing the content of those emails with us for processing.
Limitation of Liability
In no event will we be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profit, lost revenue, loss of data, or other damages arising from your use of the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless, including our subsidiaries, affiliates, and all of our respective officers, agents, partners, and employees, from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses, made by any third party due to or arising out of:
- Your User Data
- Use of the Site
- Breach of these Terms
Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated revision date.
